We have earned our reputation for honesty and integrity by always doing business the old-fashioned way; showing up early, never cutting corners, and never quitting until the job is done. Zohner Construction takes pride in performing quality work, keeping the customers in-budget, and working with the same subcontractors for over 20 years, even with the fast-changing times in the construction industry.
Over the past 25 years, almost all of our projects have been awarded through word of mouth from happy previous customers. It is a unique honor to serve the same families and communities over a long period of time, so every time we have a repeat customer, or a referral from another satisfied client, we know we are doing something right.

Garret Zohner, Owner
Garret Zohner graduated from Winthrop university in 1996 and started the company in 1997 as a licensed contractor while still working for a commercial engineering company performing commercial roofing projects for large corporations in North and South Carolina. Once his new business had enough work booked to last for 6 months, Garret went full time as a self-employed contractor and never looked back. Garret built relations with rental companies around Winthrop University, and performed interior, exterior painting, repairs, roofing, siding, concrete, wood replacement, tile, and flooring mainly on college rental houses and apartments.
Zohner Construction quickly established good relations with suppliers and subcontractors from the area, and started to perform larger projects in Rock Hill, SC. These projects ranged from room additions, bathroom remodels, and kitchen remodels. Along with the remodeling projects, Zohner Construction started building houses in 1998, and began to build a reputation as a crack home building team. From there, Zohner Construction started to create custom houses, many of which have become dream homes for families in the upstate SC area.
Garret has always maintained a focus on honesty, quality, and putting customers first, and his values are reflected in the team he has built.
